So I first met Mariah on Instagram. I was obsessed with her clothing store, West London Boutique. In particular, this emerald green, open neck blouse, paired with a leopard pleated skirt. It was divine. So there, the outfit got me sucked in, but Mariah held me there. I was nervous as I just cold called the store one day. It was a long conversation that went something like "Hi Mariah, I'm kinda your stalker and want to know more about you and if you'd like to be part of this project I've just started...." Now, only a few short months later, it feels like we have been friends much longer.
When you meet her and read and hear her story, you're gonna want to be friends with her too. You'll find a beautiful person, mother, and shop owner, but also someone who has found strength and purpose in her failures. That, to me, is what's most beautiful about her.
