Shannon rocks strategic communications for the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory and leads multiple externally funded science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education and workforce development projects.  She is our resident expert on internships and resume building and has the bigger biceps than anyone else on our team. (She's kinda proud of that, and we are kinda scared of her.)
